About The Club

Logan Cavaliers Basketball Club Inc., affectionately known as Cavs, was formed in October, 1998 by Mr. Jim Kerr, following the construction of the InSports Stadium on Byrants Road, Logan.

The Club is a founding member of Logan Basketball Inc., formed in 1998. With the help of Jennifer Mason, a young Logan mother, Jim hurriedly began the difficult process of establishing a structure for the Club to be ready for fixtures in February 1999. Jody Murrihy (age 7) had the honour of being the first player ever registered with Cavs.

Jim had a strong passion and love for the sport alongside his wife Cheryl and their 3 children Brendan, Belinda and Rowan who all provided a strong commitment to Cavs. It's this close-knit family element that continues to resonate through Cav's today, treating each player and member of staff as part of the Cav's family.

Cavs has since grown into one of the most popular Basketball Club's in Logan and Brisbane's southside, accommodating for players of all ages and skill levels across both boys and girls. We have over 250+ active players!
